On the Tuesday before every Monaco Grand Prix, there is a special appointment for racing drivers and other celebrities from the world of sports: HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco traditionally invites to a charity soccer match “Star Team for Children”, in which he plays with his “Star Team MC” against the “Nazionale Piloti” squad, uniting international race drivers from several series.

This year saw the 26th edition of the traditional match – and Augusto Farfus showed his soccer skills being part of the “Nazionale Piloti” team. It was once more an evening of charity, sport and glamour – and there were two anniversaries to celebrate: the 60th birthday of HSH Prince Albert II two months ago and the 25th anniversary oh his “Star Team MC”.

At the occasion, Augusto handed a very special present over to HSH Prince Albert II: a unique MONGRIP(tm) bracelet from the first edition of the titanium collection, with the series number 001. The bracelet was made of rubber from a certified Formula One(tm) tyre and completed with titanium.

“It was a great honour for me to present HSH Prince Albert II with something extremely unique and a product handmade in Monaco. He was excited by the idea and the concept of these bracelets made in his principality,” said Augusto.

MONGRIP(tm) was launched by Augusto together with Italian entrepreneur Giancarlo Medici and is an exclusive collection of motorsport-inspired luxury bracelets, each made in Monaco of rubber from Formula One(tm) tyres and finished with precious metals.
